Our Mission

At Dr. Tillmanns' periodontal clinic, our goal is to deliver individual, professional and gentle care. We believe that listening and understanding the needs of our patients is necessary to achieve this goal. We commit to remain current in training and knowledge, exceeding the requirements set forth by the College of Dental Surgeons of  British Columbia; utilizing the most recent, evidence-based data available and combining it with clinical experience. With these tools, we'll provide you with the foundation for a functioning and healthy, beautiful smile.

Marney
Office Manager
Come on in and Marney will be happy to answer your questions! A longtime resident of Prince George, Marney's knowledge of the area and its population helps her satisfy the dental needs of our patients.  Marney attended high school and college here, married, and put down roots with husband Allan and their two daughters. She's been an asset to our practice since 1999, and her wealth of knowledge regarding dental insurance, attention to detail, and refined talent for multitasking have Marney most currently fulfilling the role of office manager.

Tara
Reception/ Surgical Appointment Specialist/        Recall Coordinator/ Certified Dental Assistant
For your pre-operation consultation, Tara will explain surgical treatment-planning and booking, insurance and treatment coordination. With 16 years of implant, surgical and patient management experience, Tara brings real enthusiasm and expertise to our office. Tara moved to P.G. to attend school and fell in love with the area. In 1995, she graduated from the College of New Caledonia (CNC) as a Certified Dental Assistant.  Her love of people extends home, where she has enjoyed hosting international exchange students for years.  Tara also enjoys skiing in the winter and visiting her cabin each summer with her husband, son and extended family.

Records Coordinator
In 2009, Tobi became our office records coordinator. With the shift to digital radiography, paperless record-keeping and email records correspondence, Tobi's position has become integral to the function and efficiency of our office. Tobi's "nose to the grindstone" attitude and eye for detail make her the perfect fit to work through the mountains of information received daily. Not only does she help keep the wheels of this machine oiled, she keeps her home--with her husband and triplets--running smoothly, as well.

Cheryl
Certified Dental Assistant
Cheryl was born and raised in Prince George and the tradition continues with her own family. Having three grown boys keeps Cheryl on her toes, as does her busy running, skiing and biking schedule. She is not only dedicated to her training but to her profession. She graduated from CNC as a Certified Dental Assistant and is proud to have 30+ years experience under her belt. Cheryl's surgical and implant-assisting expertise warrants her an authority in our office. Being one of the first to arrive and last to leave has proven Cheryl's commitment to our patients and their dental-health needs.

Colleen
Certified Dental Assistant
Originally from Prince Rupert, Colleen moved to P.G. with her family in 2005. Since then, she has sunk her teeth into the community by joining the executive team for the Spirit of the North Festival of Trees. She also enjoys the great outdoors and quilts in her spare time. Colleen's handiwork and precision have  been a benefit to our practice since 2007. Her intuitiveness and rigor make her an exceptional periodontal and implant surgical assistant. Having graduated from the Certified Dental Assisting program at Northwest Community College in 1981, Colleen's experience is broad and her patient care is genuine.

Christie
Registered Dental Hygienist
Christie was born and raised in Quesnel. In 1994, she moved to Prince George and now calls it home. Christie began her career at our office after graduating in dental hygiene at CNC in 1998. She's an integral part of our hygiene department. Not only has Christie honed her skills in a periodontal practice, she has kept her professional development current by working with hygiene students at CNC's Dental Clinic. Christie's career satisfaction stems from helping her patients retain their natural teeth. After hours, she loves reading, skiing, and camping with her husband and two beautiful children.

Kelly
Registered Dental Hygienist
Kelly graduated with her diploma in dental hygiene from CNC in 1995. Her experience lies in both general and periodontal practices. Kelly joined our team in 2007 and has proven herself an asset to our office in helping her patients reach their dental health goals. Kelly also keeps current in the field by working on a casual basis at CNC's dental clinic. Originally from Nova Scotia, she moved to Prince George when she was 11 years old. Kelly spends her free time keeping up with her active family and relaxing at their summer cabin with friends.

Frances
Registered Dental Hygienist
Frances was born and raised in Prince George. She graduated from the dental hygiene program at the College of New Caledonia and after working for 10 years in general practice joined Dr.Tillmanns' office in 2005. She also instructs at CNC on a casual basis. Frances truly enjoys helping patients achieve positive changes to both their oral and general health through their treatment at our office. Attending regular continuing education courses helps her to stay current with ever-changing issues in dental hygiene. In her spare time, Frances enjoys spending time with her family: skiing and snowshoeing in the winter, camping and hiking in the summer.

Cyndi
Registered Dental Hygienist
Cyndi started her dental career in 1994 as a certified dental assistant turned dental hygienist, and brings heaps of general, surgical and specialty experience to the office since joining in 2003. Cyndi enjoys the learning opportunities that a periodontal practice offers. Being part of the local Dental Hygiene Society executive and partaking in continuing education allows Cyndi to keep current in her profession and the treatment of her patients. Cyndi is a long-time resident of Prince George but has also called Jasper, Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg, Whistler and Australia home. She plans to extend this sense of adventure to her son and daughter.

Registered Dental Hygienist
Kari began her career in the dental field in 2001 as a Certified Dental Assistant. She broadened her horizons in 2010 by returning to the College of New Caledonia, becoming a Registered Dental Hygienist. Kari is a member of the CNC Community Advisory Committee and feels passionately about patient education, comprehensive care, patient comfort and well-being. Being a native of Prince George, Kari  enjoys the great outdoors but her true love is the open highway. Autocross, driver training, biking and travelling are among Kari's hobbies with future aspirations of visiting Croatia and Easter Island.
